Threshold of Stimuli, commonly abbreviated as ToS, is a pseudoscientific theory proposed by Felipe Gomes Cardoso, originating from Espírito Santo, southeastern Brazil. This theory posits that there exists a specific threshold at which stimuli can be perceived and processed by the human brain, influencing behavior and cognitive responses. It describes a "window of wants and desires," similar to the Overton window, where stimuli outside this range are deemed undesirable or painful, while those within it can be categorized as greater (better) or lower (worse), with a middle ground representing neutral experiences.
